Sorry I'm late, but I had a busy night, I fell asleep before I could do the Blog.
We started the day knowing we were only going to move a short distance, as we could only go so far, as we were getting near to were we were told to wait, for BW to let us through a big swing bridge, on Friday morning.
We started off just after bridge 20, with only five miles to get to our rendezvous point at bridge 9.
Although the journey was short it wasn't without incidence. We had the job of opening four swing bridges. These swing bridges were all near to a very built up area, so there was a lot of traffic using the bridges. We took it in turn doing the bridges, we had a bit of a competion to see who could catch the most cars in the day. Carolann won with a total of over forty cars.
