Outside Lancaster Castle, Prison.We left Hess Bank in a lull in the rain, as we pulled away we had yet another downpour and blast from the wind. After a short time the rain stopped, but the wind carried on blowing.
We continued on, aiming for Lancaster.
Arriving in Lancaster mid. morning, we all went to do the shops in the city, returned for lunch, then Jo & Carolann went back to the shops, to do some serious shopping, the men stopped on the boats to do jobs. The weather had changed to sun shine with the wind.
Early evening we went into town to eat, we found an Italian restaurant and had a very good meal.
This is the night that Manchester United played Barcelona, the town was full of Man.U. fans, girls and boys, the girls dress or not was all very entertaining.
We then had a good walk around Lancaster.
