Saturday 17th March.

Up at 5.45am! Dressed, breakfasted packed Darcey in the car and arrived at Tim's for just past 8 o'clock.
Amelia was already for us and off we went heading for Birmingham NIA for "Disney On Ice". An easy journey of about 75 minutes.
We arrived in plenty of time for the 11. am. start of the show.

We went to the Cafe Rouge for a hot drink and some thing to eat, then walked over to the NIA for the show.

The place was packed, but it was easy to get in and find our seats. I suppose that half the audience were children who were mostly dressed in costume of one Disney character or another.

Then followed a most amazing show depicting the characters of Disney on ice.

The show finished just a few minutes before 1.pm. an easy exit and a five minute walk to the car park and we were on our way home.

Delivered Amelia back to her Mum and Dad, a cup of tea and a chat and then we went over to their local pub for dinner, Jeremy our elder son joined us, we had an excellent meal.
After that Amelia was whisked off to her other Grandparents for a sleep over, we returned to the boat
for a rest. I was able to catch up with the recordings of the various rugby matches that had been recorded during the day. Then early to bed.
Sunday 18th March.
Mothering Sunday.
Jeremy had stopped over at Tim & Cris's and was coming to lunch. After lunch Jeremy left and went on his way back to Lincoln. We then moved the boat off the hire boat moorings and back on to the canal bank.

Monday 19th March.

Not a lot to do today. We plan to remain here until Wednesday as Jo has got a hair appointment then.
