Monday 12th March
A cold misty start no sign of the sun today.
Moved off the mooring in the basin and moored on the first slot on the canal side. Took the car down into Harbrough to shop,  we rested in the afternoon.

Tuesday 13th March
A very foggy start.
Moved off to go to Debdale to fill the tanks with diesel hoping to get it at 84p per litre. A good trip the swing bridges were movable, just. We arrived at Debdale and filled with diesel, unfortunately they had filled their tanks with a new delivery yesterday, the new price was .88p per litre. Returned back to Foxton locks and had lunch, then moved on to just past the "Glue factory" and moored up for the night.

Wednesday 14th March
A cool still morning.
It's Jo's birthday today, so no rushing around we have all day to get back to Harborough when Tim and family are due to call after work to visit.
With the extra time before we sailed off, I had time to play with two small heat pads I had bought on ebay. They are designed for motor cycle handlebars to keep the riders hands warm but when wrapped around the tiller I hoped it would keep my hands warm.
On the journey back I switched the pads on and I had warm hands all the way, it just needs a bit of tidying up.

Thursday 15th March
A lovely hot sunny day.
Set about finishing the polishing of the boat.

Friday 16th March
another cold damp start.
Moved the boat over to a mooring in the basin as it will be more convenient on Saturday when we take grand daughter off early to Birmingham NIA to see Disney on Ice "Princesses and Heroes" .
