Saturday 10th March.
Up early ready to drive to Kirton near Boston for Mike and Sally's wedding.
The day started with a clear blue sky and getting warm.
We had an easy drive to "The Poachers Country Hotel" where the wedding reception will be held and we will stop over for the night.
We arrived at the car park just as Carolann and Graham were getting out of their car, we checked in popped up to our rooms, then down to the bar for coffee.
We then got glammed up and drove to the church for the Wedding. All went well, Sally and Mike came out of the church as Mr. & Mr. Rhodes.
Still blue skies and warm weather. Then back to "The Poachers" for the reception. The tables were named after the canals, we sat at the Lancaster table and were all boaters on it, the top table was the Grand Union. A great time was had by us all, the hotel was fantastic and looked after us well, even the next morning with a full English breakfast.
Sunday 11th March
After breakfast we had to get moving and drive back to collect the girls from Tim, Cristina and Amelia. When we arrived it was obvious that they had had a great time, laying about in the garden (the girls that is) completely at home. Actually we left them there for Tim and Cristina to deliver them to the boat later.
So we had an easier time settling in.
