A bit late moving off, as I had to do a last minute shop in Sainsbuy's, then Autumn Years was driven into Castle Marina for fuel and a pump-out.

A day of windy warm and occasional showers. We cruised on, overtaking a very slow narrow boat that was crawling along the cut.

Completed the two locks on our way to the River Soar, through the first flood lock then Ratcliffe lock and moored up after a mile.
