the basin was empty when we arrived, which helped us to wind the boats, the ladies did the shopping while the men filled the boats with water. I received phone calls from both sons, Tim phoned to tell me they were going off camping and Jeremy (who's birthday it is today) to say how well they were doing in Koss, with the scorching hot weather and the friends they had met.
We then moved on to above Barrow Deep lock to moor.
