15th July

Another hot, warm and sunny day.
The dogs ran in the nearby park and did a bit of training, the dogs that is.
Today's the day we are going to walk the wall around York, unfortunately the dogs are not allowed on the wall so they had to be left on the boat. We last did this walk about 30 years ago when we accompanied our sons cub pack, on a visit to York. It took us about two hours to complete the whole circle of the walk.
Back to the boats for coffee and the lunch. Afterwards the ladies went back to the shops, Graham and I went to the Railway Museum just on the other side of the river. This I had been to thirty years ago, and it appeared to have changed considerably.
Back to the boat for a beer, the ladies returned, just as the beer was poured but they had tea.
At six o'clock we set off to a well recommended fish & chip restaurant, for an excellent meal.
