6th July

We're still in Clarence Dock, LEEDS.
We have been busy looking around the shops in the the nearby city centre.
I have been sorting out the replacement phone and sim card, with my original number. We had used the spare pay as you go phone in the mean time, so much that yesterday we ran out of credit on it, a quick trip to the local Tesco for at top up.
On Tuesday I had to take Purdey to the vet's, she had been a bit poorly and sad for herself, we thought it might have been the hot weather, but we couldn't miss the chance while we are stopping still in Leeds, we thought the vet should have a look. Apparently her temperature was OK, but she had got a sensitive tummy. A couple of injections and some tablets later we left the vet's and a taxi back to the dock and the boat. No food for Purdey for the day.

Today Wednesday, Purdey is a lot better and eating again.
We visited the Armories Museum near us in the Clarence dock, it is an amazing display of weapons, war and fighting.
I tried to do a bit of painting on the boat, although the weather is good, it does keep raining about an hour after I have put a coat of paint on, it's very frustrating.
I also managed to post a parcel to our Daughter in Canada as their strike is over.

Hi John
Hope that you are not back in Liverpool otherwise G and CA will not be best pleased that their boat is not being looked after. Sorry to hear that Purdey had to go to the vets. I think it is the weather as Tucker has been a bit off during the hot spell.
Best wishes
