2nd June

A warm start to a day that is forecast to get hot.
Out with the gang, to go shopping on Market Day, in Garstang. An absolute abundance of clothing stalls, Graham and I, arrived at the end of the market, twenty minutes before the ladies phoned, to see where we were.
After the market, we went and did some proper food shopping, at Booths. We then went to the boat for lunch, first we were invited on Autumn Years, for coffee, we then had lunch.
The sun is out now and it is hot.
We then set off cruising towards Bilsborrow, after four miles we moored up just after bridge 47 to visit a huge garden centre.
We stopped here over night and will cruise to Bilsborrow, tomorrow.
On this day in 1896, Marconi was Granted the patent for the wireless telegraph.
