13th June

Warmer and dry today.
Walked the dogs first thing, then went to the Maritime Museum, an amazing collection of exhibits of Liverpool's connection to the sea. We spent over an hour there, but as it is only about 200 yds. from the boat, we can easily pop back.
We set off for a walk with the dogs, after lunch, we wanted to see the Anglican Cathedral, this was about 3/4 a mile away, so it was a good walk for the dogs. we passed through the Chinese quarter on the way. Because of the dogs we didn't go into the Cathedral but we did let them off in the gardens, where they had a good run.
On the way back to the boat we passed the starting point for the DUCK's, I went to buy the tickets, while Jo took the dogs back to the boat. The trip was very interesting, the first part was on the road through Liverpool, together with a cometary explaining the buildings of interest. The second part was in the water, after we had been shot down a ramp into the Docks. we then toured the docks, having them and the boats explained on the commentary.
Back to the boats, to sit outside on the landing stage, to have a cup of tea and read, and enjoy the sun and the warmth.
