25th April

Left the mooring at 8.30 a.m.
Quite cool this morning so we were wrapped up, although the sun was out. We were only moving to Church Lawton today.
After half a mile we were starting the locks again. Most of the seven locks we did were pairs of single locks, this meant that there was a better chance of having a lock in our favour.
Towards the end the sun went in, behind some serious clouds.

I then went in to Hanley on the bus, to buy two vices on vacuum bases. These Graham and I, wanted them just for there vacuum bases, to replace the old bases on our satellite dishes. I had already sourced them on the Internet.
You can see Carolann on the lock in front.
3 miles, 8 locks, 3 hours.
