Last night Darcey spent the night on our bed, so that we could stop her if she tried to pull the staples out, otherwise she's fine.
I re moored the boat, as we moored in a hurry yesterday and it looks like we could be here for some time, both Foxton locks and the locks towards Leicester are all on a restricted "essential use only" (only hire boats and those that have a permanent mooring at Debdale or Market Harborough) are allowed to pass through, due to the lack of water. We who only moor for winter in Market Harborough don't count, so we have to watch hire boats go up the locks one day and come down the next! the boats from Debdale I can understand, if they are returning to their moorings, but they also are allowed to pass up the locks to go out, even if it's a short trip to Welford and returning two or three days time. What boats are there that have an essential reason to travel? Every morning locks full of water are passed down the locks just to maintain the level of the water at the bottom. As you can probably tell I'm not very happy about it, if there isn't any water, close it.
The rest of the day was spent on maintenance of the boat, new shelves in the study & replacing the perspex under the pigeon boxes.

That must be about the only advantage of mooring at Debdal then lol
