A peaceful day on the mooring next to the wooden bridge, before Foxton.
I found a field for the girls to have a good run in, that tired them out for most of the day. I set about putting a new drive belt on the domestic alternator, the previous belts have always been a bit too long and together with a bit of stretch have always taken the alternator to the maximum amount of swing possible. The new ones are perfect, the tension adjuster still has a lot of spare adjustment and I am able to get the belt tighter than before. I then topped the water up in the batteries
We all went out for a long walk to Foxton Locks and had hot drinks at the top.
