This is the day we start our granddaughter's minding duties. With an expected time of arrival of 9.15 am. We have to be up, breakfasted, dogs walked and the boat cleared ready for the arrival of Amelia. I walked to the road at the side of the restaurant to see the silver Volvo arrive on time, with Cris and Amelia in, last minute instructions, from Mum and we walked back to the boat.
After a short settling in, we sorted out umbrellas for us all and walked to our car, then we all went shopping in Market Harborough. When all the shopping was completed we returned back to the boat, unpacked and put away every thing and had lunch, afterwards video's were watched, games were played and then we walked down the towpath with the dogs.
The time was swiftly approaching when Cris would be returning to collect Amelia, we had to rush back to the boat as I had been talking to a fellow boater and had lost track of time. We then gathered things together and set of to meet Cris, we all got to the meeting point at the same time and Amelia was popped into the car and driven off.
Back to the boat for a rest and a cup of tea.
