Monday morning, we weren't early getting up.
Maureen and Geoff came over to say final farewells, presenting us with some rhubarb and apples to send us on our way. Final farewells and off we went towards Keadby Lock, I phoned the lock keeper and booked us in to the lock tomorrow at 1.30 pm. More long strait cruising on the canal, views for miles, easy lift and swing bridges and one lock all electrically controlled. Moored up, with three miles to go, to Keadby.
14 miles, 1 lock.
