Started at 8.15 am. Bright sunshine & hot, our aim is to get to Brentford, that's 18 miles & 18 locks away, by 6pm. Filled up with fuel ,we got a discount for quantity nearly 350 litres between the two boats, charged .50p instead of .52p per litre. Pumped out at Cowley Peachey, both boats for one charge of £10. Got held up behind a wide beam between Bulls bridge & Brentford, they didn't close the gates or lower the paddles after exiting the lock. When we caught up with them Carolann pointed out their errors, OK after that. Arrived at Brentford 6.30 pm. Got prepared for Thames anchor out find life jackets all been put away untill next year, then hands down the weed hatch to clear weed, rags, plastic bags, rope & the remains of the keep net from the other day. Dinner and to bed.
