Sunshine this morning and warm. We're not cruising this morning, until Carolann & Graham return at lunch time. Walked the dogs, and scrubbed the blacked sides of the boat to get the mud and marks it gained from the Savick Brook off. Cruised over to the service point to fill with water, dump the rubbish and clean the other side of the boat. Returned to the mooring and took the dogs for another walk.
When we got back to the boat, Carolann & Graham returned and we had coffee. We agreed that we should cruise to Garstang 4.5 miles away to find a mooring for 3 nights.
Off we set at 2.15 p.m. What a change it made to be back cruising in the sun, warm and wearing summer clothes.
Arrived at Garstang and easily found a mooring for the two boats, just before the Wyre Aqueduct.
On this day in 2161 eight of the nine planets will aligned on the same side of the sun.
