30th April

The last day of April and the sun is still shinning, but the wind is blowing hard.
Walked back into the outskirts of Congelton to get the papers, as it was my turn this Saturday.
We set off at 8.30 a.m. and cruised past a fell called the cloud at 1000 ft. on our way to the bottom of the twelve Boslom locks. I think the wind got quite a bit stronger, as we climbed about 100 ft to the summit. We took on water at the top and moored up at 12.15 p.m.
Had drinks and read the papers, all about the Wedding we had watched most of the day yesterday.4 miles, 12 Locks, 3.75 hours.
