Off early to Homebase, to buy some plants for the basket on the boat roof. Left the Rugby mooring 10 a.m. Filled the diesel tanks up at Lime Farm Marina (204 litres @ .82 p.p.l.) Filled the water tank, at Hawkesbury Junction and on through Bedworth & Nuneaton to just beyond bridge 27, Springwood Haven, 5p.m.
Lovely sunny and warm day, I feel like I've been on the beach all day.
20 miles, 1 lock(6"), 7 hours.
