Saturday 25th August.

Somerton Meadow. Hot & sunny all day. Molly had walked in the boggy part of the meadow and stank, so she had a bath.

We got on with sun bathing drinking coffee etc. and watching the display of parachuting in the distance (over Abingdon).

Sunday 26th August.

Sommerton Meadow. Polished the starboard side of the boat and finished polishing the brasses, that I had started the other day. Yes another sunny hot day, more coffee etc. and the parachutists were back. Weather sunny but windy

Monday 27th August.

Left Somerton 9.00 am. Quite cold and windy but sunny. Moored at Kings Sutton, did 4 locks 8 miles.
