We mostly sat out on the bank at The Union Wharf, enjoying the hot weather, tea or coffee.
On Wednesday we both had our flu jabs.
I caught up with some painting on the boat, finishing the colours on the stern, then I painted the chimney and it's base. Then I moved on to sanding and preparing the green on the back deck.
On Friday we were still waiting for Sam to bring the alternator, lunch was ready and I was about to sit down to eat it when Sam rang, to say he was on his way. As I finished it Sam turned up and asked if I wanted to fit it myself or did I want him to, I said that I would do it. Sam went down to MH to do some shopping and I started, I have done it so many times that I can get all the tools out I need and get on with it. It took just a bit over half an hour and the engine was turned on and all was working as it should. Sam turned up and joined us in a mug of tea and a chat, then left with alternator number two, to get fixed.
Saturday and Sunday more sitting out and chatting with fellow boaters and enjoying the heat of the sun.
Monday we moved off out of the Wharf and on to the bank.
Gill on Idunno called and delivered the second dog coat for Darcey that she had knitted for them.
We are now ready to sail off to Foxton.
