23rd October

On Monday we were put back in the water. We then sailed through Foxton and moored just after the wooden footbridge. The weather is still fine but quite cool. Over night we had some rain, but it was a dry cold Tuesday morning. After giving the dogs a good run we set sail to Market Harborough, it was a good cruise we appeared to have had a bit more water in the canal. We arrived at 11a.m. and moored in our berth for winter mooring. Caught up with the gossip of the few days we had been away.
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday it's the count down now for our cruise over the Atlantic to the Caribbean on the 29th October. Lots of shopping and preparing the boat for being left for three weeks.
Saturday was a very nice sunny day, Jo was gradual getting buried under a pile of ironing when we had a phone call from Sharon & Stephen. The ironing was stopped and out we went to Foxton in the car to meet them coming down in Mutley from Debdale. Coffee and cakes all round on Mutley more gossip and then a walk up the locks with the dogs. More gossip as we met other boating friends on the walk.
Sunday the first case will be packed and taken to Tim's house to store and another empty one brought back to the boat for packing.

The rain we had on Monday night is the only rain we have had this week!
