Lovely mooring on the river Trent at Cromwell Lock.
Nice sunny and warm start, gave the dogs a good run on the lawn at the side of the lock.
Started sailing at just after 9, under blue skies and on blue water.
A good and uneventful cruise that took a little over one hour to get to Nether lock at Newark and a short cruise to a mooring on the pontoon under the local BW office, at first we had to breast up but later the boat astern of us left and Autumn Years fitted in the slot.
As Jo walked the dogs off the pontoons she bumped into two old boat friends, John and Sally, over tea we had a good chat and catchup.
Weather was still hot and sunny so we able to catch up with caring for the boat.
