14th August

Moved off a 9 am. aiming at getting to Thurmaston this afternoon, to make an early start tomorrow morning to get through Leicester in one day.

It's a good warm and bright day.
The first lock we came to was Mountsorrel, followed by Sileby, Cossington and Junction locks. We stopped at the Hope and Anchor for lunch, then moved on to Thurmaston were we passed through the lock and moored just after the lock mooring.
On the trip today, Autumn Years was suffering from the warning light, for the domestic alternator lighting up. So Graham had a good look at it and could not see why it was happening, but it wasn't charging the domestic batteries. A phone call to Sam Matts, who assured Graham that he will call tomorrow first thing.
Hopefully, we can get up a bit later tomorrow!
