We are standing still today, in Bilsborrow, we will move off tomorrow and go to the top of the Savick brook, ready for our booked passage on Monday, down the brook, along the River Ribble, then along the River Douglas and out, at the Tarleton Lock, onto the Leeds & liverpool Canal. Both rivers could behave like the open sea, so we are hoping for good weather.
However with the weather being good today, we plan to rest as much as possible, in the sun, interrupted by eating, drinking, reading and watching the bowls matches, that are of a better quality today.
