Rest day

Last night we had a small problem with the Hurricane heater (it stopped working at 9pm). Lit the Bubble stove and left that on all night, had to have the windows and pigeon boxes open so not to over heat.
Had a walk with the dogs up the locks, hot choc. drink & Sausage rolls at the Top Lock Cottage.
Met Eric & Debbs off N.B. Georgina, we bowed & curtsied to them, as they had been on TV last week in the programe about the history of Kibworth (they were shown bringing Georgina down Foxton Locks).
Lunched and rested.
Chrissy & Richard N.B. Digitalis called on us to bring us news and a pre winter moorings chat (Digitalis was also shown on the same episode of the Kibworth film).
Decided to phone Calcutt Boats to order the part for the Hurroicane, I wanted an air pump, the 24v version. OOOOh said the guy at Calcutt, "there not available any more, Hurricane's supplier have stopped making them and so far they can only supply the 12v version". His suggestion was to have the faulty air pump looked at. I have decided to leave it until we are in our winter mooring when we are on electric. Switched the Hurricane on to test it and it worked!!! So we will have see.
