Tuesday 28th
Left Kings Norton 8.30 am. on a short cruise to Banbury, 2 miles 2 locks, Weather sunny but windy. Called at o2 shop to see what they could do with my faulty mobile, but as it was just over 12 months since I bought it the warranty didn't cover it. However they did direct me to a Nokia repair shop and pointed out that Nokia's warranty is for 2 years. The Nokia shop was not far away and thy are sending it away to Nokia to get it repaired. Had lunch on the boat, then went out with Jo to do the shopping. As I had to take some cash to the Nokia shop, to cover the postage of the phone back to M. Harborough, I suggested to Jo that she waited in the main shopping part of town and look in the shops while I popped round the corner and paid the money. When I got back to the spot that I was going to meet her, Jo was no where to be seen, so I waited & waited eventually she emerged from a dress shop and beckoned me in, 15 minuets later we emerged, Jo with two dresses for the holiday cruise and me with a hole in my credit card. We then did the food shopping that we came out for. Had tea etc. on the boat with C&G, then later went out for dinner in Banbury.
Wednesday 29th.
Left Banbury 8.30 am. lunched at Cropbredy, had a look around the village and went on to moor up at Claydon. 7 miles 7 locks.
